Homecoming Kick-Off | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Landon Courtyard
Let's start Barry University's Homecoming off right! Join us in the Landon Courtyard for student performances, DJs, additional entertainment, food, and fun to learn more about Homecoming and what to expect for the upcoming week. Window Decorating
Window decorating encourages student groups, clubs, and organizations to come together and promote their group by decorating a window in the theme of masquerade. There will be prizes for the best decorated windows. The windows that are available to decorate are the ones in Roussell Dining hall and the Landon Atrium, and are first-come, first-serve. Office Decorating
Faculty, staff and departments are welcome to get in on the homecoming action by decorating offices within the masquerade theme. Offices should be decorated no later than 9am on Monday for judging. There will be prizes for the best decorated office. Departments will supply the decorating materials. Pie A Professor: ASB Fundraiser
Pie your professor in the face for a good cause! Who is in?
Come out and help support the Alternative Spring Break team as they host the “Pie a Professor” fundraiser where donations will go toward their upcoming spring break services trips. Support this amazing team, as well as your professor, by donating money toward the professor you would like to see get a sweet treat to the face. The professor who raises the most money will be pied, in front of everyone, at the Kickoff event.
Un Masque Fashion Show | 8 p.m. | Landon Courtyard Parking Lot
Un Masque is more than a fashion show, it’s a transformative experience! The show will unveil a harmonious blend of fashion, art, music, and dance! Don’t miss six of the hottest collections that include designs by BID, Faye’s Closet, Men’s Wearhouse, Splash Boutique, Revenge Vintage, Cupcake Mafia, Chubbies Shorts, Betty’s Bridal & Tuxedo and Swim ‘n Sport. There will also be Graphic T’s available that were created by Barry University graphic design students.
There will be special performances by the official Miami Heat Violinist, Sons of Mystro, and Fire Dancers. Also, Barry University’s own OI Models, BLISS, and AIM, along with other performances, are sure to captivate the audience. Make sure you come to Un Masque in your best Miami nightlife and glam attire! Special prizes and giveaways will be given to the selected trend setters in the audience.
