As part of the First-Year Experience, the New Student Investiture is the official welcoming ceremony for new students to Barry University. The event is an interfaith ceremony that highlights the religious dimension of Barry University and commemorates the opening chapter of college life for the entering students.
During the ceremony, University president Sister Linda Bevilacqua, OP, PhD, will present newcomers with a pin that represents their commitment to the University and to their success.

* Please note failure to attend the Freshmen Experience Day, New Student Investiture or the Freshmen Educational Programs will result in additional 10 service hours for each program missed and a meeting with the Dean of Students.
