Join Barry University for The Nun Run 5K and 8K. All runners, walkers and joggers are welcome!
The Nun Run 5K and 8K is open to all age groups, and families are encouraged to participate. The Nun Run 8K is ideal for high school athletes who want to practice a collegiate length. Results and standings will be monitored with real-time chip tracking technology from Split Second Timing. Both 5K & 8K are certified runs.
Nun Run participants will receive a complimentary T-shirt, finishing medal, complementary hydration drinks, snacks, and a free beer ticket (age 21 and older). Following The Nun Run, participants and their families are encouraged to wind down at Barry University’s Bucky Fest, a free celebration featuring food and fun for the entire family. Food truck items will be available for purchase. The event also includes live entertainment, a beer garden, KidsZone, adult games and more.

Course
The Nun Run will start at Barry University’s main campus in Miami Shores, make its way through the streets of Miami Shores Village, and end back at Barry University.
Parking
Parking is available at the Barry University lots located at the corner of N.W. Second Avenue and N.E. 115th street.
Awards
Barry University President Sister Linda Bevilacqua will present awards to the top finishers in each age division.
