DAHLONEGA, Ga.—The Barry Buccaneers split two games on the final day of the Captain D’s Classic at North Georgia, beating Columbus State 7-0 but losing 4-0 to the host Saints.
 
In the first game, Brittany Anderson had two hits and knocked in two runs, while Amber Jack (8-5) tossed a five-hit shutout.
 
Ashley Likens and Jessica Tabor each scored twice as the Bucs snapped a three-game skid.
 
Jennifer Issasi (2-5) took the loss for the Cougars. She worked 2.2 innings, allowing four runs on six hits and two walks.
 
In the nightcap, the Saints completed the season sweep of the Bucs, winning 4-0 behind Trisha Snider’s three-hit shutout. Courtney Maguire scored twice and drove in two runs with a fifth-inning triple.
 
Brianna Smith (5-3) took the loss for the Bucs. In five innings, she allowed just three hits, but walked four, leading to four runs (two earned).
 
The Bucs open Sunshine State Conference play next weekend at Florida Tech with a single game on Saturday and a doubleheader on Sunday.
