In the first match of the afternoon, the Bucs beat the Davis & Elkins Senators, needing extra time to take the third set. In the first set, the Bucs were dominant, storming out to a 15-7 lead, and taking the set 25-14.

In set number two, the Senators stayed close, down 12-10 in the early going. Barry, however, went on a 9-4 run to take a 22-14 lead. The Bucs held on, and took set two 25-19.

The teams traded points back-and-forth through 28-28 before Barry ended it with a Mima Hajdukovic kill and a Senator error.

In the second match of the afternoon, the Bucs downed the Shepherd Rams with relative ease, winning in three sets. The first set was the closest as the teams were tied for much of the game.
