"Captain" Ed Londono is the director of CRW. He was hired in July of 1995 after having worked as the recreation director at Florida International University. Londono has worked in the field of recreation since 1991, and has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (FIU 1990) and a master's degree in Sport Management (FIU 1995). He has directed the BUCkid’s camp since its inception in 2003.


Londono’s specific background working with children includes:

  • Camp counselor, Alexander Montessori Camps, 1988-1991
  • Sports Camp Director, FIU, 1992-1995
  • Program Director, ALL Sports Camp, FIU, 1994-1995
  • Program Director, Pockets of Pride, Barry University, 1996
  • Youth League Coordinator for Officials, MAR JCC, 1999-2002
  • League Director, Aventura Youth Leagues, 2001-2003
  • radKIDS instructor since May 2004
  • Coordinator for the “Go Long” flag football camp: Miami Shores Recreation
  • Sports instructor for children (1st grade-5th grade): Miami Fitness Connection

Andy graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management-Golf Industry from Barry University (2007). Andy also obtained his Masters degree is Sport Management in 2008. He has worked many years in the golf industry and is experienced in teaching youth sports such as flag football, golf, basketball, and baseball. Along with serving as Assistant Director for the BUCkids Camp Andy is also the interim Director for the Fun, Fit, Friday’ s program at Barry. A program that helps at risk youths develop social and life skills. Andy also is:
