For the second game in a row against a team from the island, the Bucs (4-0) handled the opposition with ease. But Barry responded with a 9-0 run, as Jackie Perez hit three free throws and a three-pointer, to take its first double-figure lead at 19-9.

The Bucs stretched it to 18 points at the half, 35-17, and the Janes never got closer than 16 points the rest of the way. Emily Schahczinski’s put-back basket with 3:02 left gave Barry a 68-35 lead, it’s biggest of the game. The Janes scored the final eight points against the Bucs’ reserves.
