MARC U*STAR / MBRS SCORE / MIRT NEWSLETTER

The MARC U*STAR/MIRT/MBRS SCORE programs are supported by NIH to provide research opportunities for students and faculty. MARC U*STAR scholars are biology, psychology, chemistry and mathematics majors who carry out research on campus and will pursue a Ph.D. in that major. Scholars receive tuition and monthly stipend. MIRT trainees major in biology and chemistry and carry out research during the summer in Italy, Jamaica, Korea and England. Trainees receive travel, stipend and living expenses. MBRS SCORE has student technicians who carry out research with faculty in chemistry and biology. Technicians receive an hourly wage.

Contact Dr. F. Redway at (305) 899-3542 for further information.
