Grant Update

The School of Natural and Health Sciences (SNHS) (Dr. Teresa Petrino, P.I.) was awarded a NSF Major Research Instrumentation Acquisition of a Digital Image Documentation Station and a High Speed Refrigerated Centrifuge for the Core Molecular Biology Lab. The purpose is to acquire instrumentation that will provide valuable new information on the molecular mechanisms of oocyte differentiation and embryonic development in lower vertebrates.

SNHS (Drs. Flona Redway and Gerhild Packert, P.I.'s) was awarded a DOA Infrastructure Support Program for Historically Black Colleges/Universities and Minority Institutions. The purpose of the award is to update and upgrade existing biomedical equipment to teach students current methodology in various fields of biology.
