40 Years Serving the Barry Community
I would be remiss if I did not have some words to share with you after completing 40 years ministering at Barry College/University.
We have always strived to give our students programs of academic excellence, and I can honestly say we have achieved that. We could not have done that without the continued efforts of our faculty who make it happen: years of excellent teaching in the classroom; dedication, creativity and patience at the research bench and hours of mentoring and developing students outside of the classroom.
I believe that our students have been wonderful to work with; some we have had to pull along and shake up, often against their will but they have risen to the challenge. All of the alums are the success stories of the School of Natural and Health Sciences and we are proud of them.
Please continue your financial support of our programs, we cannot offer scholarships to needy students without it. Many of you were supported by us as you went through Barry, please now be a helping hand to worthy and needy students. Your generosity will never be forgotten and you know that you are daily remembered in our prayers.
Sr. John is the Dean of the School of Natural and Health Sciences, Associate Vice President of Research and has been the founding director of the MARC U*STAR, MIRT and MBRS SCORE grants since their inception at Barry University.
