Bio

Professor Heather Kolinsky earned her law degree at Rutgers University in Camden. While in law school, Professor Kolinsky completed the Foreign and International Law Honors Program where she received an Honors Certificate. After law school, she clerked for the Superior Court in Connecticut for one year and joined the Ninth Judicial Circuit in 1997 working in the civil, appellate, domestic, probate and criminal divisions. She also spent time in private practice assisting clients with employment and consumer issues.

Professor Kolinsky is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States Middle District Court and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also a past member of the Central Florida American Inns of Court and served for several years as a judge and jury advisor for Orange County Teen Court.
