Student Life

Barry Law students are encouraged to broaden their experiences by participating in student organizations. The wide range of offerings listed below focus on academic, professional, social justice, political, religious, cultural or social interests. Student groups cultivate a collegial and inclusive environment within the law school community and promote an intellectual exchange in an atmosphere of academic freedom. Not only do such groups foster professionalism and rapport building with faculty advisors and peers, but they also offer opportunities for interaction with representatives of the organized bar and the judiciary in certain settings. By assuming leadership roles in these organizations, student leaders develop specialized skills that enhance their legal education and networking resources.
