Anesthesiology (MS)

The Master of Science Program in Anesthesiology has been designed for the bachelor-prepared registered nurse with critical care experience who wishes to become a nurse anesthetist. Nurse anesthetists or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) are advance practice nurses who are credentialed to provide anesthesia and pain relief services

Athletic Training (BS)

Acquire the theory and hands-on clinical experiences needed to become a certified Athletic Trainer and prepare for career opportunities involving the care, prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of sport-related injuries.

Biology (BS)

Preparation for graduate study; medical, dental, veterinary, or podiatric school, among others; research and government careers.

Biomedical Sciences (MS)

Prepare for acceptance to medical or dental school or for a dynamic career in a professional research environment with a master's in biomedical sciences.

Cardiovascular Perfusion (BS)

The perfusionist is a skilled practitioner who works closely with the other members of the open-heart team and whose primary role is to completely support the patient's life systems during cardiac surgery.

Clinical Biology (BS)

If you have an associate’s degree and certification as a medical laboratory technician, histotechnician, nuclear medicine technician, ultrasound technician or respiratory technician, you can advance your career as a health care professional by earning a bachelor’s degree in clinical biology.

Conduct procedures in which radioactive drugs are used to diagnose medical problems.

Provides the necessary coursework to prepare students to function as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Mental Health Counselor in applied settings. Both specializations are CACREP-accredited; students choose one as the designated CACREP-approved specialization. Both specializations include the academic requirements for licensure.

Provides the necessary coursework and skills to prepare students to function as a Mental Health Counselor and, also, provide counseling for the physically, mentally, and emotionally impaired. The Mental Health Counseling specialization is CACREP-accredited and includes the academic requirements for certification as a mental health practitioner and for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor.

Counseling (MS) Specialization in Marital, Couple & Family Counseling / Therapy

This specialization is CACREP-accredited and includes the academic requirements for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. This Program provides the necessary coursework to prepare students to function as a Marriage and Family Therapist in applied settings.

Counseling (MS) Specialization in Mental Health Counseling

This specialization is CACREP-accredited and includes the academic requirements for certification as a mental health practitioner and for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor. This Program provides the necessary coursework to prepare students to function as a Mental Health Counselor in applied settings.

Counseling (MS) Specialization in Rehabilitation Counseling

This specialization provides students with knowledge and skills for counseling the physically and mentally disabled. The Program includes coursework and clinical experiences to increase the student's understanding of counseling for various rehabilitation populations and settings.

Counseling (Ph.D.) Specialization in Marital, Couple & Family Counseling / Therapy

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Program in Counseling is CACREP-accredited and provides a specialization in marital, couple, and family counseling / therapy for students who hold a Master's degree in counseling or a related discipline from a regionally accredited college or university. The Program trains students for leadership positions in counseling and related fields.

Nursing (BS)

The baccalaureate in nursing (basic degree option and the RN to BSN option) lays a foundation for safe, compassionate, and multiculturally sensitive professional practice by preparing clinically competent professional registered nurses.

Nursing (BS) LPN to BSN Option

You must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to apply for admission to this option which allows you, if you meet the qualifications, to test out of some nursing coursework. Students can enroll on a full-time or part-time basis.

Nursing (BS) RN to BSN Option

If you graduated from a state-approved diploma or associate degree programs in nursing, you can apply for admission to this option. Classes are held in the afternoon and evening to accommodate the work schedules of registered nurses.

Nursing (BS) RN w/UG degree out of field

This unique program is designed for Registered Nurses (RN) who have a BS/BA in a field other than nursing. Coursework is identical to the RN to BSN option, but students may be exempted from some prerequisites.

Nursing (BS) Second Bachelor's Degree

This accelerated program is designed for students having a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a field other than nursing. Some of your previous coursework may apply to prerequisite course requirements.
