MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers skinned the Wilmington Wildcats 14-4 at Feinbloom Field in NCAA baseball action Thursday night.
 
The Bucs scored in each of the first six innings, pounding out 15 hits, including eight for extra bases.
 
Nick Shaw went two for three, with two doubles, walked three times, scored twice and drove in four to lead the Bucs at the plate. Andrew Frezza added a triple and a two-run homer, while Joel Keefe had a triple, single and drove in three runs. Evan Ashley led the Bucs with three hits.
 
Mike Tomoleoni (1-1) earned the win. He held the Wildcats to just three hits in six innings, though he walked six, and allowed two runs while striking out four. Sean Gorham (0-1) took the loss for Wilmington. He surrendered six runs, all earned, on five hits and four walks, while striking out two.
 
The Bucs host the St. Rose Golden Knights on Friday, Mar. 7 in a doubleheader starting at 1:00 pm.
