MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers celebrated women’s basketball senior day with a 77-76 overtime win over the Rollins Tars in Sunshine State Action from the Health & Sports Center on Saturday.

Colette Eule nailed a 40-foot shot at the buzzer in regulation to send the game to overtime. With Rollins up 70-67, the Tars’ Ashley Losch went to the free throw line with 1.1 seconds left, but missed both shots. Tyler Hardy got the rebound for the Bucs, and after a time-out, Danika Pisconeri heaved the ball down the court to Eule who caught, spun and banked in the tying bucket.

In the overtime, Rollins’ Jen Farrell knotted the game at 74-74 with a pair of free throws with 2:02 to play and then gave the Tars a 76-74 lead with 1:28 with a layup. After the teams traded misses, Ines Kerin dropped a three-pointer with 0:07 seconds left and Farrell missed a layup at the buzzer.

Barry built a 30-19 lead at the half. The Bucs held the Tars to just 22.2 percent shooting in the first period.

After pushing the lead to 16 points, 47-31, at the 14:30 mark, the Bucs watched the Tars storm back and take a 58-55 lead at 4:25 on a three-pointer by Emmalee Schill. Rollins lead by as many as seven points before Barry tied it at the buzzer.

Hardy led the Bucs with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Kaylia Richardson added 19 points. Eule chipped in 15 points and Nyjah Porcher scored 10 off the bench. Sarah Taylor led the Tars with 20 points, Schill had 19 and Losch and Farrell came off the bench with 12 and 11 respectively.
