The Barry University School of Social Work invites students and staff to enroll in this motivational interviewing training study.
Date: Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 (9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Wednesday, Oct. 17 (9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
Location: Andreas 111 and 112
- Pick up, sign, and return a consent form to Mrs. Mary Consuegra at the front desk of the School of Social Work in order to enroll. Only the first 70 people will be admitted into the study.
- Participants are asked to attend the one and one-half day workshop as well as be willing to attend six (6) additional small group practice training sessions on either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 12:35 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. Half of the participants will be randomly assigned to receive these additional sessions. Participant groups will be announced at the end of the workshop on 10/17/12.
- Food will be served at all training meetings at no cost thanks to the Faculty Incentive Grant.
