Donna Abood, principal managing director of the Miami Office of Avison Young, a global commercial real estate firm, was a guest speaker at the forum. Abood is responsible for client servicing and revenue of the leasing division, and oversees the leasing division’s business development of institutional and local investor clients and tenant representation services, including retail, industrial and office.
Nichole Castater, PhD, associate professor of finance, interviewed Abood, who provided students, faculty and staff with information about her long and successful career, as well as insights into how to manage a career in the commercial real estate market.
The primary purpose of ELF is to enhance the learning experience of students in the MBA program. Guests are invited to participate in a business dialogue, communicating challenges and triumphs to students and the community.
