Lori L. Cajas
Lori L. Cajas earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Legal Studies from Barry University in 2007. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree from Barry University in Organizational Learning and Leadership. She is a Certified Paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) and is a Florida Registered Paralegal.
Lori began working at the University in 1995 as a Circulation and Interlibrary Loan Assistant in the Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library. In the Spring of 2007 she joined the Office of Legal Affairs as a Paralegal and Office Manager. Lori assists the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel with all aspects of litigation and risk management support.
She volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and various projects for the Miami Rescue Mission.
David Dudgeon, JD
David Dudgeon first became associated with Barry University as outside litigation counsel in 2007. He then joined the Legal Affairs staff in 2008 as Assistant General Counsel and was appointed General Counsel in May, 2010. David came to the University with a diverse litigation background which includes matters involving real estate, construction, contracts, securities, employment and medical malpractice. David continues to represent the University in litigation and also advises the University on a wide variety of legal issues.
He obtained his Juris Doctorate with Honors from the University of Florida and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University. He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for Southern District of Florida.
David is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys. Outside of the University, he has volunteered time to The Haven in Boca Raton.
