In anticipation of the effects of Tropical Storm Eta, the following Barry University location will close tomorrow, November 12, 2020 until further notice and courses at this location will either be recorded or rescheduled:
  • St. Petersburg

Students with courses based out of St. Petersburg will hear information directly from their program director regarding course delivery.

The following locations will close for in-person engagement, but will operate remote-only for course delivery and office functions, effective Thursday, November 12, 2020 until further notice: 

  • Ocala/Gainesville
  • Orlando, including the Law School Campus
  • Tampa

All courses will be recorded and accessible to students in the event the storm impacts connectivity.

Students in clinical rotations should check with their sites regarding potential closures or cancellations. Any students uncomfortable attending, or unable to attend, clinical rotations due to the storm will not be penalized.

The Barry University Command Decision Team (CDT) continues to monitor Tropical Storm Eta and will make announcements about the resumption of in-person activities in these locations as decisions are made.
