CCSI hosts Spring 2014 Community Engagement Fair

The Center for Community Service Initiatives (CCSI) will host its biannual Community Engagement Fair on Wednesday, January 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the atrium of the Landon Student Union. Twenty-five community agencies representing a cross-section of social and environmental concerns will showcase information and opportunities for involvement. Participating agencies include Chapman Partnership, Special Olympics, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Urban Promise Miami, and Voice for the Children.

“The fair is a great way for students as well as faculty and staff to learn about volunteer, service-learning, and other engagement opportunities in the community,” said CCSI Associate Director Christina Leano. “Students who attend the fair will also be able to enter a raffle for a chance to win a Starbucks gift basket.
