The president of Biscayne Bedding International and Barry alumnus, Jan Wettergren, will discuss his journey from Barry student to business owner on theInstagram Live show this week -- The Insiders.
On The Insiders, Mr. Wettergren will speak with Dr. Dale Hartz, Assistant Professor of Management at Barry’s School of Business on the topic: “My Entrepreneurial Journey: Going from Barry U Grad to Business Owner.” The show airs Tuesday, June 9, at noon. They will explore current business trends, strategies, and tactics to become an entrepreneur. The following day, on Barry Banter at 9 PM, Dr. Hartz and his BE Lab co-host Olivia Klein will offer a lively discussion and analysis of their recent interview with Mr. Wettergren.
Mr. Wettergren was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. He played golf and tennis as a Buc at Barry. His wife is a fellow alum and his son is a current student. Dale will explore how his guest went from Buccaneer to working with Serta around the U.S. to opening his own business.
