Suicide Prevention

This training will provide attendees with a basic introduction to suicide prevention, assessments and basic principles of CBT-SP (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Suicide Prevention). After this training the attendees should be able to recall evidence based assessments and protocols used for suicide prevention. The attendees will also practice interventions that can be used with suicidal clients. 

 

Miledy Daniel’s is a graduate from Argosy University where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health Counselling. Ms. Daniels joined Chrysalis Health in February of 2013 and currently holds the position of Lead Corporate Trainer and Clinical Development Administrator/ Redirection Therapist.  Ms. Daniels is a certified child welfare case manger and has experience working with Hospice, DCF and community mental health organizations.
