Dean Diaz Elected to Easter Seals Florida Board of Directors

Orlando, Fla. – Leticia M. Diaz, dean of the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, has been elected to the Board of Directors for Easter Seals Florida.

“I have always greatly admired the work Easter Seals has done for people with disabilities and their programs for seniors, so it is a great honor and privilege to join the board,” said Diaz. “I look forward to supporting Easter Seals’ services and helping the board provide a vision and direction to grow the organization.”

Easter Seals is the leading nonprofit provider of services for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical and mental disabilities and other special needs. Easter Seals Florida provides adult day health care, personal emergency response services, vocational services, child development, early steps, pediatric therapy, early intervention, camping and recreation promoting independence for children, adults and veterans with disabilities, and respite for their caregivers.
