About Our Guest:

Rene Perez earned his bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Barry University. Upon completing his undergraduate degree in 2003, he launched his career at an accounting software startup for the aviation industry. During his 10-year tenure with the company, he helped shepherd it toward success and profitability. His entrepreneurial drive and passion for software development led him to launch OnlineRene, LLC, which produces software products and web apps. His first product, BridgePay, a web app that helps schools collect payments from parents and community members, is still used by many schools in the Miami area. In 2015, Perez founded CONCIERGEpad, a mobile security platform tailored for schools, healthcare clinics, and businesses that checks-in visitors, captures visitor photos and prints visitor badges wirelessly. CONCIERGEpad is widely used throughout the country and has led the charge toward touchless check-in innovations in the wake of Covid-19.
