Biography
Carole Huberman, PhD, CPA, is a Full Professor of Public Administration at Barry University’s Andreas School of Business and Public Administration, where she also serves as Program Coordinator for Public Administration. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in public administration, public budgeting, program evaluation, leadership, and research methods.
Dr. Huberman’s research spans public sector leadership, emotional intelligence, government accountability, fraud prevention, antisemitism, democratic resilience, and applied public administration pedagogy. She has presented her scholarship widely at national and international conferences, including the Midwest Political Science Association, the Southeastern Conference of Public Administration, and conferences in Europe and the Middle East. Her work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals and interdisciplinary law reviews.
She holds a PhD in Public Policy, an MPA from the University of Pennsylvania, and advanced degrees in accounting and taxation. In addition to her academic career, Dr. Huberman is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds multiple professional certifications related to fraud examination and human resources
Dr. Huberman has served extensively in university governance, including leadership of the Faculty Senate, service on accreditation committees, the Institutional Review Board, and the graduate council. She is also actively engaged in community and professional service through nonprofit boards, policy organizations, and national academic associations.
