Barry University has contracted Parchment to provide transcript order, printing, and delivery service. All account balances must be paid in full before your transcript can be released. If you pay your account balance with a check, it will take up to 21 days for the hold on your account to clear.
Contact Student Accounts at 305-899-3585 to clear your balance before placing your transcript order.

When you have successfully entered your order, you will see a screen with a title of "Order Accepted for Processing". This screen will state that your transcript order has been accepted and will provide you with a 9-character order number that you should retain in case you need to contact Parchment customer service department for order information or questions. Their customer service number is (847) 716-3005.
The social security number is optional, leave the field blank. You will need to know your Barry ID number. If you do not remember your ID number, call 305-899-3030 for that information.
You must supply a valid email address in order to use Parchment. If problems arise in processing your order, there must be able to communicate with you. If you enter a phony or invalid email address simply to get us to accept your order and a problem arises in processing your order, Parchment will never be able to tell you about the problem and will automatically cancel your order after 30 days.
The state code should be left blank and the country code should be PR, VI or VG.
First Class Mail is the term used by the USPS to denote regular service; i.e. putting a stamp on the parcel and putting it in a mailbox. This is the default method of delivery and it does not speed up delivery.
The delivery method you choose for your order (First Class Mail or FedEx) only applies once your order has been completely processed and printed. The time it takes to process and print your order is dependent on the day and time your order is submitted for processing, whether your records are in the online system or stored offline on microfilm (if you attended prior to the school's implementation of electronic records), whether you have any special requirements for your order such as attachments or notarized documents.
Yes. Go to https://www.parchment.com/u/order/track and login to your Parchment account to track an order.
Yes. Older records are stored on microfilm and require additional time to process.
If your hold is not cleared within 30 days of placing an order, your order will be automatically canceled and you will be notified via email.
Please use the Parchment support link www.parchment.com/chat-support, which includes a phone number.
Diplomas are issued to students upon degree conferral. All financial obligations to the University must be paid in full before diplomas can be released. Please contact Student Accounts at 305-899-3585 or studentaccounts@barry.edu with any questions regarding an outstanding balance hold.
Barry University’s Office of the Registrar provides and aids in many different services. Please use the following list, below, as a guide so your question is directed to the appropriate area.
Instructional Methods
“Instructional Method” is the manner in which a class component — lecture, lab, etc. — is delivered in a given semester. These methods of instructions have been determined after a thorough assessment by deans, department chairs, faculty and other university professionals. Classes were assessed to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment, quality instruction and engagement with faculty.
Coronavirus Disease

An online course has been designed from the ground up to be delivered online. Such courses undergo an approval process to be delivered online. Classes delivered by remote instruction were originally designed and approved to be delivered in person. Their online “remote” delivery in the 2020-21 academic year is an emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic. (*)Lecture Remote, Lab Remote, and FLEX, delivery of instruction does not pertain to fully online courses. These courses will continue with the standard online delivery.

The Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) provides a taxonomic coding scheme that supports the accurate tracking and reporting of fields of study and program completions activity across Colleges and Universities in the U.S.
The CIP titles and program descriptions are intended to be generic categories into which program completions data can be placed, not exact duplicates of a specific major or field of study titles used by individual institutions and not exact duplicates of a specific major or field of study titles used by individual institutions.
The CIP is the accepted federal government statistical standard on instructional program classifications and is used in a variety of education information surveys and databases. The CIP is used by state agencies, national associations, academic institutions, and employment counseling services for collecting, reporting, and analyzing instructional program data.
