Barry Access Program

Barry U partnered with Follett Bookstores to offer Barry ACCESS program which delivers required course materials to students on or before the first day of class. This program is designed to guarantee significant time and cost savings for our students, with potential savings ranging between 20-50% on course materials.

All you need to know about the program:

    Students in these courses will receive emails from  with instructions on how to access their course material. You can also check with your instructor or your course syllabus in Canvas to see if your course is participating.

  • Barry ACCESS takes the hassle out of getting your course materials because costs are covered as part of the charges on your school statement. This allows every enrolled student access to all required materials on the first day of class. Once you have selected your courses, your course list will be sent to the Barry Bookstore. The Barry Bookstore gets everything ready for you. All you need to do is check your school email for how to access your course materials for the term. 

  • Yes! Students can save up to 20% or 50% thanks to the campus store relationships with publishing partners and bulk purchasing power. The program also reduces student stress during the purchasing process and provides a method to easily access, manage and use all course materials regardless of format or cost.

  • You must opt-out by 09/03/2023 (Fall 2023).

  • If you already opted out and the opt-out period has not ended, you can opt back in during that period of time. Please log back into the opt-out portal and choose “Opt-In”. You can log in to the Opt-Out portal by clicking
