Biography

James (Jim) brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in nursing practice, education, and leadership. With a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University, James has not only mastered the intricacies of nursing theory but has also translated this knowledge into tangible, real-world applications that have significantly impacted patient care.

Throughout his career, Jim has held various pivotal roles, each one marked by innovation and dedication. As a Clinical Specialist in Cardiac Care at Broward General Medical Center, Jim spearheaded initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, staff competence, and organizational excellence. His development of a Clinical Decision Unit for evaluating chest pain and heart failure patients stands as a testament to his commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care.

In addition to his clinical endeavors, Jim has made significant contributions to nursing education. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Barry University, he has mentored and guided countless nursing students, imparting invaluable knowledge and skills essential for success in today's healthcare landscape. Jim's expertise in simulation-based learning has revolutionized nursing education, providing students with immersive, hands-on experiences that bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jim is deeply committed to serving his community. As a former volunteer firefighter and past president of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Broward County chapter, he has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the well-being of others, both within and beyond the walls of the hospital.
