Biography
Lee Williams is an Adjunct Professor of English and Spanish. He teaches American Literature, First Year Writing, Spanish Language, and Translation Studies. He has authored seven novels, a screenplay, travel stories, and short fiction. His story "The Prank" recently came out in Rosebud magazine. His translation of “The Ticks” by Horacio Quiroga appeared in the Tampa Review. Dr. Williams’ academic articles have been published in Dickens Quarterly, Studies in Hispanic Cinemas, and Reflexiones desde Montevideo, among others. His newest novel, The Pollinator Patch Girls, is set for publication. Dr. Williams won the Barrett Prize for the best dissertation on a Latin American topic at the University of Miami. He is a Fulbright fellow to Uruguay.
