Biography

Dr. Sandra Schrouder is a Professor of Public Administration in the Andreas School of Business and Public Administration at Barry University in Miami, Florida. She teaches in both the BPA and MPA degree programs.

Dr. Schrouder’s research interests are in the areas of Management, Public Policies, Public Finance, Education Policies, Organizational Studies, Bureaucratic Discretion, and Juvenile Justice. Her publications include articles in peer reviewed journals such as Development in Practice, Journal of Economics and Finance Education, International Review of Economics Education, Applied Economic Letters, Journal of Economics and Sustainable Development, International Journal of Accounting and Financial Reporting, among others. She is the co-author of the book “Contemporary issues in the Development of Caribbean Economies,” and the author of BarCharts: QuickStudy Business: Management Leadership, a quick study guide designed to illustrate the importance of leadership in the business world. Dr. Schrouder has served on the editorial review board of the Journal of Asia Business Studies, is currently the Section Editor for Urban Governance and Public Management: Issues, Challenges, and Developments in Springer Global Encyclopedia of Public Administration, Public Policy, and Governance. She also serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed academic journals and textbooks.
