Biography
Josh is a Process & Development Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Rays. He graduated from Barry University in 2016 with a Master’s of Science in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology. He is originally from Michigan, and when the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree from a school in Florida presented itself, he quickly jumped at the chance to move South. Barry was the perfect University for Josh because it was a small, intimate campus, but also provided an opportunity to get hands on applied work in the second year of the program. That work allowed him to get a head start in the professional world. After finishing his degree at Barry, he was fortunate to begin an internship with the New York Mets. He worked there for 4 seasons before transitioning to the Rays in 2020 and has been there since. He has also worked for the Florida Panthers AHL team. Josh has a private practice where he works with elite athletes, coaches, and business professionals across the world. A major focus of his work is building processes that help people grow. He aims to build high performance habits and teach people about perspective and understanding mental models. Josh currently resides in Florida with his wife and 2-year-old son.
