The Honors Program at Barry is designed to challenge, enrich, and prepare especially motivated students to pursue their fullest potential. By participating in a rigorous curriculum rounded out by an array of edifying and interactive events, students explore crucial issues that we face in our daily lives. Students are given the space for discussion and debate and the opportunity to learn from experts in their fields. The Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library is located in the center of the beautiful Miami Shores campus of Barry University. The Library is named in loving memory of Monsignor William Barry, one of the founders of Barry University and an inspirational figure in the Catholic Church within the Archdiocese of Miami. The extensive Library research collections include more than 950,000 physical items, over 40,000 print and on-line journal subscriptions, and several thousand on-line books and streaming video resources.

We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

With limited capacity at each venue, all of the Main Campus ceremonies will stream live on Barry University’s Facebook page, so all your friends and family can participate in the celebration.
If you RSVP’d for the ceremony, please be on the lookout for an email to your Barry account that will prompt you to claim your guest tickets or visit the Marching Order site today.
Guest tickets must be claimed by Monday, May 4, at 11:59pm. Graduates do not need a ticket—but should arrive in their cap & gown to gain entrance.
Please note, there is no overflow seating at School and Campus ceremonies. Only ticketed guests and graduates who RSVP’d to participate in the ceremony will have in-person access to the events.
If any unclaimed tickets remain on Tuesday, May 3, an email will be sent to all graduates with instructions on how to obtain additional tickets. These will be available on a first come, first served basis. The system will remain open until Thursday, May 5, or until capacity is reached.
To accommodate all commencement visitors to campus, graduates and their guests must park in the areas designated for the College of Arts and Sciences Ceremony. Your guest tickets will reflect the color of your assigned parking lot. Review this parking and venue map, which is specific to the May 6 ceremonies on campus.
