The future of assistive technology is being shaped by the creative minds of our occupational therapy students. In a recent assignment for the Assistive Technology class, select students were challenged to design devices that enhance everyday activities of daily living using inexpensive materials. The results were nothing short of inspiring, showcasing the ingenuity and dedication of our students to improving the lives of those with disabilities.

Function: Allows individuals with weak grip/grasp to enjoy racket sports.

Natalie Robayna’s invention, "The Enabler," addresses a common issue faced by individuals with weak grip or grasp. This innovative device allows users to participate in racket sports, promoting physical activity and social interaction. By enabling a firm grip on the racket, The Enabler opens up new possibilities for sports enthusiasts who may have previously felt excluded from such activities.

Function: Provides a portable solution for round handles, enhancing accessibility.
