I am thrilled to welcome all ADSOE students, new and existing, to the fall 2021 semester!
While it is unimaginable that we are still in the pandemic trenches, it remains part of ADSOE’s mission to prepare caring, ethical, and highly-skilled professionals through academic excellence and experiential learning. As your Dean, my personal mission is to ensure your education is enriched by an inclusive and diverse environment that will deepen your perspective and allow you to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.
While this past year and a half has been filled with uncertainty and unease, I’d like to invite you to join me in focusing on the good—starting with YOU and your commitment to your education. While we cannot control a lot of what is going on, we can control our actions. The act of going to school and investing in yourself so you can learn, grow, and evolve is no small feat—and by doing so, you are making a meaningful and impactful change in yourself, with the power to change the world around you.
As you begin classes and settle into your new routine, please remember to take time each day to center yourself, realize your accomplishments, set goals and daily intentions, and to remain hopeful.
There will be many upcoming events that you’ll be invited to over the next several months—some fun, some informative—all amazing ways to connect and be together! Until then, I wish you the best days ahead. Let’s keep on moving forward…
All the best,
Jill Beloff Farrell, Ed.D.
