We promote coaching practices based on the Core Competencies of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Our program is comprised of weekly meetings over an 11-month period. Classes are made up of live virtual instructor-led sessions.
The program incorporates coaching skills and competencies training, live coaching demonstrations, practice-based coaching circles, networking, coaching affiliation, peer feedback discussions, coaching session recording evaluation, and coaching portfolio building. Participants also meet for two full days to review and practice core coaching concepts and competencies in preparation for the Coaching Knowledge Assessment provided by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Coaching is one of the top growing careers in the United States and the world. Leaders, managers, and organizational practitioners can incorporate coaching skills into their job or business and become influential drivers of productivity, innovation, resilience, and wellbeing in their teams and organizations. Our goal is to prepare leaders and organizational practitioners to meet the requirements of the ICF credentialing process. At the end of the program, participants should be prepared to apply for either ACC or PCC credential with the ICF. Participants will also receive a Professional Coaching Certificate from Barry University.

The program includes 125+ hours of class sessions and homework/time for independent study.
Our next program starts on May 18, 2021. The class will meet once a week through remote webinar instruction. The last two class meetings will be full-day sessions conducted face-to-face at our Miami Shores campus. The program is taught in English.

It is recommended that you have a bachelor's degree or five years of related experience.
Barry University is in the process of completing all the requirements for an ACSTH accreditation application with the ICF.
