Clinical Psychology (MS) Research Achievements

Clinical psychology students conduct an empirical study for their master’s theses. Our students regularly submit their research for publication and presentation at state, regional, national, and international conferences. The College of Arts and Sciences and the Psychology Department provide financial support to help students defray the costs associated with attending conferences to make presentations. The following is a list of some of our graduate students’ research achievements.

Melodie Plaise (2019) presented her poster "Racial Identity, Racial Socialization, and Perceptions of Police" at the Annual Convention of the American Psychology-Law Society in Portland, OR. Diversity Travel Award.

Amanda Garcia (2019) presented her poster "Differences in Eyewitness Accuracy between Deaf and Hearing Populations" at the Annual Convention of the American Psychology-Law Society in Portland, OR. Diversity Travel Award.

Salman Ahmad, Alicia Kershaw, and Lyndsay Wehrle (2018) presented their paper "Group Cognitive Rehabilitation: A Systematic Review" at the Annual Conference of the International Neuropsychology Society in Prague, Czech Republic.
