Your educational journey is unique, and your destination is still in sight. One Year. Test Optional Admissions. In-Person or Online.

If you’re looking to build your credentials and advance as a healthcare professional or biomedical scientist, our BMS program is a proven next step. Our rigorous program will strengthen your medical preparation by delivering a sequence of core science courses similar to that of a first-year medical program. We also feature an exceptional selection of electives such as Epidemiology, Immunology, Medical Microbiology, Pathophysiology, among others. We provide all students with one year access to Complete Anatomy, embedding this highly advanced 3D anatomy platform into the teaching and curriculum in our Gross Anatomy lab.

With a hyflex learning format with in-person and online options, completion times in as little as 12 months, and a top-tier faculty that’s ready to help you move forward, the BMS program will provide you with the tools and experience you need to succeed.

Personalized, test-optional admissions:

Each completed application is reviewed by our faculty admissions committee. The committee's goal is to admit students who will aptly manage our rigorous curriculum, commit to scientific learning, and demonstrate sound professional capacity. While the review process considers each element of an application, we place a strong focus on overall academic performance, specific science pre-requisites, upper-level science coursework, academic performance trend, and analysis of any patterns of withdrawals or repeated courses.

Alumni Testimonial

Biomedical Sciences grad Edmine Pierre shares how Barry helped prepare her for medical school.

“Earning my master’s in Biomedical Sciences from Barry was the perfect bridge between my undergraduate training and the competitive world of medical school. The program provided exceptional training and the support I needed to thrive. As a first-generation student, Barry staff and faculty gave me the guidance I needed. And they’ve stayed in contact, even after my graduation.
