Health Services Administration (MS) Community Service

Community service for students enrolled in the Master of Science degree program in Health Services Administration or the Master of Science dual degree program in Health Services Administration and Public Health the is encouraged and recognized through scholarships and awards.

Our students can participate in local health initiatives, such as AIDS awareness in ethnic communities, active involvement in community and healthcare organization health fairs, and speaking at various functions on issues of interest to the community. MS Health Services Administration students are, also, strongly urged to participate in our student, regional, and national professional organizations that benefit the profession of health administration. Our student clubs include the Barry University Student Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Barry University Student Network of the Medical Group Management Association/American College of Medical Practice Executives. We are active members in the South Florida Healthcare Executive Forum, Inc., and encourage students to attend their educational programs, at no charge, and attend their social functions to meet community healthcare professionals.
