Applicants that hold an undergraduate degree in social work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited undergraduate social work program for which their degree was conferred within the past five years can complete their MSW in just 7 months (two full-time semesters). Students accepted into this highly competitive program will enroll in advanced clinical concentration and leadership courses.
Students are required to complete 580 hours of Professional and Clinical Practice training over the duration of enrollment. This translates into approximately 24 hours a week of social work internship. This program is not recommended for individuals that work full-time. Students will take approximately four courses each semester (Tues. & Thurs. 9:00AM - 5:00PM). Professional and Clinical Practice will be assigned for completion on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
