Biography

Andrea Greenbaum is a Professor of English and administers the Professional Writing Specialization at Barry University. She has served on the editorial board of College Composition and Communication, Florida English,andBarry Magazine. She is the author of Judaic Perspectives in Rhetoric and Composition(Hampton Press, 2008),Jews of South Florida(University Press of New England, 2005), The Emancipatory Movements: The Rhetoric of Possibility(State University of New York Press, 2002), and Insurrections: Approaches to Resistance in Composition Studies(State University of New York Press, 2001). Her articles and reviews have appeared inHumor: The International Journal of Humor, American Studies, Composition Studies, Writing on the Edge, JAC, The Journal of Men's Studies, Composition Forum, Studies in American Jewish Fiction, Teaching English in the Two-Year-College, Hypatia, Femspec, Film and History, American Jewish History,and the Journal of the Assembly of Expanded Perspectives on Learning.
