Leadership Lessons with Renowned Author Peter Block

The Human Resource Development program invites all Barry University community members to join in a special Zoom event featuring civic and organization leadership expert Peter Block.

The author and co-author of several best-selling books, including the acclaimed Flawless Consulting and the 2016 An Other Kingdom: Departing the Consumer Culture, Peter Block is an iconoclast of organizational and civic leadership. His work focuses on building thriving workplaces and communities and bringing meaningful change “through consent and connectedness rather than through mandate and force.” He is the founder of Designed Learning, which trains business leaders to connect as allies and strategic partners, and he is active in numerous community-building organizations.

During this exclusive Zoom event, Creating Possibility in Organizations: Key Lessons for Leadership in the Pandemic World, Block will outline his core principles for building and maintaining thriving organizations amid the challenges of the global world. If you are a current organizational or HR leader—or you hope to become one—this event is for you! The event begins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, on Zoom. You must RSVP to log on.
