Director, Housing, Residence Life & Student Conduct
Matthew Cameron, born and raised in Middletown Connecticut is a graduate of Xavier High School and is a double alumnus of Barry University. Matthew holds a B.S. in Criminology and M.S. in Higher Education Administration. Matthew is responsible for providing the overall leadership and direction for the Department of Housing, Residence Life & Student Conduct. Matthew also serves as one of the universities Title IX Investigators.
Associate Director of Residence Education
Judisha Williams comes to Barry University after working in Campus Life at Florida International University. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University and her M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University. Judisha is responsible for Residence Education and enjoys being able to connect the residential and academic experience of her students.
Associate Director of Business Services
Yojana Rodriguez-Humbert is a double alumnus of Barry University having completed her UG degree in Public Relations while being a member of the Women’s Basketball team and her MS in Higher Education. Yojana has a been a member of various departments of student affairs having served in roles that in encompass housing, international student advising as well as Dean of Student Affairs this experience in combination with her passion to work with college students has given her a fulfilling career over the last 11 years. Yojana looks forward to continuing in higher education with Barry University in her role as Associate Director of Business Services for Housing and Residence Life.
The administrative assistant is responsible for the day to day operation of the Housing and Residence Life Office. This person is directly response for management of the maintenance repair request/work orders system in conjunction with Facilities Management. Additionally, the admin assistant oversees and supervises the Office Assistants and Federal Work Study employees. This person is the departmental point of contact for the Barry Cares initiative.
Kimberly Lainez comes to Barry University after working in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Florida International University. Kimberly received a B.S. in Hospitality Management and M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University. Kimberly will be responsible of overseeing residence halls, resident assistants and creating great social and academic experiences for students.
Jheanelle Gilmore comes to Barry University after recently graduating from Florida Atlantic University where she received her BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Sociology and a Certificate in Woman Studies as well as her Masters in Higher Education Leadership. During her time at FAU she worked as a graduate assistant for The Mentoring Project an initiative geared towards increasing student engagement. Jheanelle hopes to bring what she has learned to Barry and is excited to learn the Barry culture and way of life.
Aric Werkheiser comes to Barry University after working as a graduate assistant within the residence life department at Mansfield University. Aric received a B.A. in History from Kutztown University and M.A. in Organizational Leadership at Mansfield University. Aric will be responsible of overseeing residence halls, resident assistants and creating great social and academic experiences for students. Aric is always looking forward to new adventures and is looking forward to helping others on their adventures while at Barry University.
