About the Program Nurse Anesthesiology (Post Graduate Certificate)
The Post-Graduate Certificate in Nurse Anesthesiology is designed for students who have already earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and wish to pursue the field of nurse anesthesiology. This program includes didactic coursework and clinical residency which will allow you to sit for the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) licensing exam.
Each student’s curriculum is individualized based on prior coursework and consultation with Program Administration. Participation in the Post-Graduate Certificate program requires approval from Barry University’s Graduate Council and the Council on Accreditation for Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
