Our Programs

  • English (BA)

  • Spanish (BA)

Gain language skills as well as a deeper understanding of the Hispanic culture and literature. This major prepares you to teach and broadens your opportunities in areas such as international business and industry, social welfare, law, allied health professions, and communications.

Double your Major and your Opportunities

Double major in English and Spanish and not only will you reduce credit requirements, you’ll enjoy the enormous benefits of bilingualism: stronger cognitive abilities, expanded creativity, flexibility, and an increase in marketable career skills.

Interdisciplinary Perspective: Pairing English with another major will allow you to explore connections between different disciplines, fostering a more holistic understanding of your chosen fields. For example, combining English with a science or business major can provide unique insights into how language and communication intersect with other areas of study.
