About the Program Accounting, MS
The Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program is designed to prepare you to become a successful accounting professional with a global orientation and a strong sense of ethics and social responsibility.
The course work is structured to achieve the assurance of learning goals prescribed by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Courses will help you develop the necessary core competencies for entry into the accounting profession -- competencies endorsed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).You will acquire the relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities specified by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
The program provides the necessary preparation to be eligible to sit for professional license or certification examinations.

Key Tracks
The CPA track will help you pursue a rewarding career in assurance services (auditing) and taxation. The CFM and CMA tracks will prepare you for a financial and management accounting position within business, governmental, and not-for-profit entities. -
Meets Exam Requirements
The Master of Science in Accounting program at Barry University meets requirements of the State of Florida to sit for the CPA exam and the Institute of Management to take the CFM and CMA exams.
