The Clinical Psychology (MS) program will provide you with quality academic instruction, research experience, and supervised clinical training at a variety of mental health centers. At Barry University, we focus on training students to master the traditional clinical skills of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. The theoretical orientation of the program is eclectic.
All graduate courses in the Department of Psychology at Barry University are offered in the evening to accommodate working professionals.
Clinical internship courses (PSY 675), which occur in the last year of the program, require daytime availability. The clinical internship is a 700 hour, supervised clinical experience designed to allow students to develop their clinical skills.
This program is designed to prepare you for a career as a practicing mental health professional and for continuing graduate education.
