Commencement Baccalaureate Mass & Rose and Candle Ceremony

The Baccalaureate Mass is a celebration of graduation, and the Rose and Candle Ceremony symbolizes the bonds of friendship and the sending forth of the graduates. Graduates exchange a candle, the symbol of wisdom and knowledge, with a Barry student of their choice. In return, graduates receive a rose as a symbol of love and friendship.

Graduates are encouraged to wear their academic robes, without hoods or caps.
