Financial Assistance - Master of Arts in Practical Theology and Ministry
At Barry, we are committed to doing all we can to help you finance your education. In fact, more than 80% of our graduate student body receives some form of financial assistance.
Federal and State Financial Assistance
If your personal resources, income and assets are insufficient to meet the total cost of your education, we encourage you to review the detailed information regarding federal and state financial assistance for graduate students on Barry’s web site.
To determine if you are eligible for the federal loan program, you should begin by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov . We encourage you to apply as soon as possible. You can also find information regarding application to State of Florida programs on our financial aid site.
Department of Theology and Philosophy Scholarships
The Department of Theology and Philosophy can assist qualified graduate students with financial funding through Ministerial Awards and Graduate Tuition Assistance. The Chair of the Department will approve scholarship applications after acceptance into graduate programs. Students accepted into our graduate programs should fill out the Barry University Department of Theology Scholarship application.
Additional Barry University Scholarships
In addition to the Department of Theology and Philosophy scholarships and assistance, Barry University offers scholarships that you can apply for every year. The scholarships are funded through contributions from private donors, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, campus organizations, and corporations. Please go to the Barry University Scholarship website for further financial assistance.
Graduate students seeking additional information on the Department’s professional scholarships or assistantships should contact the Department Chair, Gloria L. Schaab, SSJ, PhD at email@example.com or ask us a question online.
