Reunion Giving

Celebrate your reunion by making a gift honoring your Barry experience and this anniversary year. To commemorate this wonderful milestone, class members are asked to make a meaningful gift that dovetails personal philanthropic goals with the University's priorities.

The year 2018 is a milestone year for many of our fellow Barry alumni. It marks the 50th year since the Class of 1968 and the 40th year since the Class of 1978 graduated from Barry University. We also celebrate the 10th, 20th and 30th reunion years for the Classes of 2008, 1998, and 1988 respectively.

We are asking all members of the Classes of 1968, 1978, 1988, 1998, and 2008 to set the example in the first ever Reunion Giving Challenge, and help us raise at least $10,000 for the general student scholarship fund. Any size gift matters, and any gift that is received for general student scholarships before March 31 will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $25,000) by The Batchelor Foundation. Your participation is key, as it helps to continue the legacy of excellence at Barry, and also sets the stage for a new tradition of reunion giving to benefit Barry students for years to come.

Your gift to Barry will reflect your gratitude for the education you received as well as your enthusiasm to ensure that the Barry community sustains the spirit and values that you experienced during your time on campus.

When a class is celebrating its Reunion year, any gifts made by members of the class will be credited to their Reunion. Give at any level that is comfortable for you. Gifts may be designated to a specific area of Barry, like scholarship or capital improvements, or you can make a gift to the Barry University Annual Giving and the contribution will be directed to Barry's greatest need.
