Fernando Londono is the Technical Theatre Director for the Department of Fine Arts. He is a Barry University graduate with a BS in Physical Education. He has been with the Department since 2000, assisting with the technical needs of all the performing arts productions and university events. His expertise in Technical Theatre comes from working with various theatre directors, set and lighting designers at Barry University’ Broad Auditorium. He has been instrumental with the growth of the theatre, music and dance programs.
Fernando’s responsibilities include the supervision and coordination of technical theatre students which entails the rigging, building and operation of all Fine Arts theater, music and dance productions, as well as the Barry University’s academic, community and rental events. In his current position as a Technical Director, Londono oversees and coordinates all Broad Auditorium events as well as other Fine Arts performing venues on campus.
